| Summary, etc | El presente estudio de opinión trata de explorar las percepciones de la población respecto a problemas tales como inasistencia, reprobación de grado, deserción y repitencia. En la interpretación de los resultados, se señalan las causas de esos problemas dentro del área metropolitana, área urbana interior y área rural de Guatemala. Las expectativas se revelan en aspectos tan importantes como lo son los maestros, las escuelas, la educación bilingüe, el nivel de escolaridad y la educación escolar en general. La encuesta se llevó a cabo en noviembre de 1996, dentro del programa de Promoción de la Reforma Educativa -PREAL- ejecutado en ASIES, con el objetivo de contribuir al desarrollo educativo nacional. |
